MRS. EDWARD BABINGTON

Mrs. Jennie Babington, wife of Mr. Edward Babington, died at her late residence, a short distance west of Middletown, on Friday after an illness of several weeks. She was aged 33 years and 3 days. Surviving Mrs. Babington, besides her husband are three sons and three daughters, William, Roger and Grayson Babington, at home; Miss Bessie and Miss Mary Babington, at home, and Mrs. Milton Gilbert, of near Harmony. She also leaves four brothers and three sisters, George Harshman, of Indiana; Elmer of near Myersville; Charles, of Washington county, and Emory Harshman, of Haw Bottom; Mrs. Calvin Summers, of near Harmony; Mrs. Elmer Baer, of near Braddock; Mrs. Jacob Geisingter, of Frederick.

The funeral took place on Monday. Services were held in the Lutheran church, Middletown, and were conducted by Rev. J.W. Gentzler, pastor. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining. The pallbearers were Ohrum Kepler, Garfield Brone, Edgar Shank, Frank Shank, Calvin Koogle and Bere Rudy.

Thomas Bittle, of Ellerton, was the funeral director.
