On March 4, 1904, he was united in marriage with Eva Mae Crider. They lived on a farm until 1908 when they moved to Brooklyn, where they have made their home for 31 years. For the past eight years Mr. Armstrong was employed by Hagen Brothers Garage of Grinnell.
He is survived by his wife and five sons. They are E. S. Armstrong of Brooklyn; Ross, of Chadron, Nebraska; Louis, of Villisca; Don, who is attending I.S.C. at Ames, and Dean, who is attending college in Chadron, Nebraska. He also leaves five grandchildren, six sisters and three brothers.
