Lucinda Armstrong married Charles Crider on 2 January 1901 in Montezuma, Iowa. She worked as a dressmaker according to the 1910 and 1920 census records. Lucinda and Charles had a son named Theral.

Obituary: Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lucinda Crider, 88, longtime Brooklyn resident, who died Saturday afternoon. The rites were conducted at the Bramer Funeral Home with Rev. E. Edward Philgreen of the Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F cemetery with the following acting as pallbearers: Randolph Roudabush, Evan Johnston, Howard Patten, Harley Burch, Ray Robey and Everett Johnston. Mrs. Crider was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, and one son, Theral. Survivors included eight grandchildren, and two nephews, Clinton Fowler of Brooklyn and Harry Fowler of Fairfax. Mrs. Crrider was a longtime member of the Methodist church, the W.S.C.S. and the Pythian Sisters lodge. She lived most of her life in the Brooklyn area. In 1963 she made her home in Grinnell and for the past 1 1/2 years at the Friendship Manor Rest Home there. Source: Brooklyn (IA) Chronicle. November 2, 1967
