Mrs. Hartpence Dies At Daughter's Home
Mrs. Elva Bithynia Hartpence, 85, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rheta Kelly of north of Edison, Saturday, at 9 p.m. Mrs. Hartpence was born in Morrow county November 14, 1862, a daughter of David and Bithynia Truex Iler.
She had lived in Columbus since last spring. Mrs. Hartpence was a member of the Columbus Neil Avenue Methodist church.
Surviving besides Mrs. Kelly, is another daughter, Mrs. Bessie Leonard of Columbus; four sons, Ralph and John of Chandler, Oklahoma, Everett of Corona, California, and Dorland of Sayre, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
