Dies Suddenly
Roland S. (Dunk) Stahr, well-known retired farmer of the Fancy Farm community, died suddenly about 6:30 a.m. this morning. Mr. Stahr was stricken while alighting from an auto at Fancy Farm, and was pronounced dead on arrival at Fuller-Morgan Hospital. Coy Drew, Graves County coroner, said death apparently was caused by a heart attack.
Mr. Stahr, who was 71, leaves three sons, Paul Stahr, St. Louis; Steve Stahr, Royal Oak, Mich.; and John R. Stahr, Fancy Farm: two brothers, Jack and Charles R. Stahr, Hickman; and 5 grandchildren.
He was a veteran of World War I.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Jerome Church in Fancy Farm, conducted by the Rev. William Allard. Burial was be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Roy M. Lowe Funeral Home until the hour of the services.

FANCY FARM, Ky., May 25 -- Roland S. (Dunk) Stahr, 71, retired farmer of Fancy Farm, died at 6:30 a. m. today of a heart attack.
Mr. Stahr was stricken as he was getting out of a car to enter a restaurant at Fancy Farm. He was dead on arrival at Fuller--Morgan Hospital in Mayfield.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member ot St. Jerome Catholic Church.
He is survived by three sons, Paul Stahr of St. Louis, Stephen Stahr of Royal Oak, Mich, and John R. Stahr of Fancy Farm; two brothers, Jack and Charles A Stahr, both of Hickman, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Monday at St Jerome Church with the Rev. William Allard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery,
Pallbearers will be Joe Toon, Bernard Toon, Harold Willett, Leo Cash, Connie Wilson, Ernest Murphy, W. O. Willett and Gerald Kilcoyne.
Members of the parish will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday at Roy M. Lowe Funeral Home to recite the Rosary.

Couple Wed
Miss Almeta Cruz and Mr. Dunk Stahr, both of Fancy Farm motored to Mayfield and were married at the St. Joseph's Catholic church by the Rev. Father A. J. Thompson, recently.
Miss Nellie Mae Carrico, acted as brides-maid while Mr. Paul Stahr, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.
The bride wore a frock of blue georgette with a blue hat and slippers to match. She is the daughter of Mrs. E. A. Cruz and is a popular young girl of Fancy Farm. The bride is well known In Paducah where she often visits her sister, Mrs. U. B. Higdon.
Those attending the ceremony were: Mrs. Edith Elliott, Mrs. Mary Merrill Faulkner, Miss Nettie Mae Carrico, Miss Anna Petty and Miss Clarissa Burch, and Messrs. Paul Stahr, James Petty, Ernest Merritt, Edmund Hodge and Charles A. Stahr.
