"Mrs. Joseph Davey, Sr. Ida Bell Tyrer, daughter of Elisha and Mary Bunting Tyrer, was born in the town of Dodgeville, Sept. 9, 1875, and departed this life May 24, 1951, at the age of 75 years, eight months and 15 days. On Sept. 9, 1892, she was united in marriage to Joseph T. Davey of Dodgeville. To this union was born 10 children. Two sons preceded her in death. Surviving are Mrs. Elva Roberts, Aldro, Joseph, Jr, Charles and Willard, all of Dodgeville, Amos of Portage, Mrs. Eva Poquette of Los Angeles, Calif, and Mrs. Mayme Engel of Beloit; two brothers, George and Eli, of Dodgeville, and seven grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren besides a great many nieces and nephews.

"Ida was a kind and devoted mother, happiest when surrounded by her children, to whom she devoted her life. Truly a wonderful mother, who will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services were held from the Luloff Funeral Home on May 26, 1951, with the Rev. Bishop officiating with burial in Eastside Cemetery."

"Card of thanks. Words fail to express our appreciation for the many acts of kindness and sympathy extended following the death of our beloved mother. Thanks for the lovely flowers; thanks to the singer and organist, the pall bearers and cars and the Rev. Bishop. you did much to lighten our saddened hearts. The children."
