Harold H. "Hal" Hatcher, age 80, passed away Monday January 3, 2011, at his home.

Hal was born in Thurman, Iowa, on December 17, 1930, to Charles and Rosella Leeper Hatcher. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years. Hal served in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was a retired ordained southern Baptist Minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; 6 brothers; and a half brother.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Wilda; daughter, Kathleen Hatcher, of Texas; sons, Robert A. Hatcher and wife and Thomas D. "Rusty" Hatcher and wife, all of Texas; 3 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; brother, Merlin "Mert" Hatcher, of Wyoming; nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Bishop Robert Wade Miller, officiant. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites and pall bearers by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard. Luncheon will follow at Refuge Bible Church, 634 Willow Ave.
