Rose Ella Leeper Hatcher was born on June 10, 1891, she passed away at the age of 54, early Tuesday at a local hospital following an illness of nearly three weeks. She was the wife of Charles Thomas Hatcher, 2222 South Thirteeth Street.
She was a resident of Councli Bluffs for the last four years, she was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Besides her husband Charles, she is survived by eight sons, Charles, Harry, Marvin, Harold, Ancil Hatcher, all of Council Bluffs, Emer now serving with the Navy, and Chancey Leeper of Oakland, California; three daughters, Mrs Virginia Miller of Council Bluffs, Mrs Eva Clark of Portland, Ore gon and Mrs Goldie Narron of Glenwood; 14 grandchildren; one brother, Edward Leeper of Wyoming, and four sisters, Mrs Vina Gardner of Imogene, Mrs Mary Hoard of Oakland, California, Mrs Lena Jenings of Rodes, California and Mrs Goldie German of Texas.
Burial will be in Thurman Cemetery and services at the Cutler Funeral Home.

Rose's daughter Goldie Hatchter Narron passed away the next day and a double funeral service was held on Saturday at the Cutler Chapel with both burials at Thurman Cemetery.
