Goldie was born on April 16, 1919, she was the daughter of Charles T. and Rose E. (Leeper). She passed away Wednesday at Iowa City at the age of 26 from a lung aliment from which she had been suffering for nearly a year. She was the wife of Pfc. Curtis Narron of Glenwood.
The body will arrive at the Cutler Funeral Home late Thursday where it will lie in state.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Roger Narron of Council Bluffs; her father, Charles T. Hatcher of Council Bluffs; eight brothers, Charles, Harry, Merlin, Marvin, Harold and Ancil Hatcher, all of Council Bluffs, Emer Hatcher with the Navy and Chancey Leeper of Oakland, California; two sisters, Mrs Vivian Miller of Council Bluffs, and Mrs Eve Clark of Portland, Ore.
Double funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Cutler chapel for Mrs Narron and her mother, Mrs Rose E. Hatcher, who died Tuesday. Burial will be in Thurman Cemetery.
