Wife of William Harrison Mumford (1792-1854). William and Elizabeth were married on November 26, 1818 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was the mother of Abigail, David, William, Anthony, Rebecca, Ezra, James, Rachel and John Mumford. She was the daughter of David Ralya and Rebecca Sarah (Gardner) Ralya. Elizabeth's husband fought in the War of 1812 and her father and father-in-law both fought in the Revolutionary War. Elizabeth died at the age of 55. After she died, her husband married Sarah Wentworth.
