Mrs. James L. Boals, Jr.

Mrs. Sara C. Boals, wife of James L. Boals, Jr., died yesterday in her late home, 417 Price St. She was in her 51st year.

The late Mrs. Boals was employed as a Teller in the National Bank of Chester County and Trust Company. She also was employed in a Philadelphia Bank for several years.

She was the daughter of the late Mary Bertha Pennypacker and James L. Cloud.

Two sisters, Mrs. Helen Dewees of Anselma, and Mrs. Iva Steele, Paoli, survive. There is also a step-son, James L. Boals III and one grandson, Stephen Markley Boals, Green Manor Farms, surviving.

Mrs. Boals was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Chester Springs, and attended First Presbyterian Church, West Chester.

She was a member of the New Century Club and at one time served as president of the Women's Auxiliary of the West Chester YMCA.

BOALS-On Monday, Sept. 28, 1953, Sara C., wife of James L. Boals, Jr., in her 51st year.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral at the Harold A. Famous Funeral Home, 101 S. Church St., West Chester, Pa., on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m.

Interment Greenmount Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening.
