"OBITUARY"

Dean R. Bollinger, 62, Fountainview Place of Goshen, formerly of 68434 Jackson St., New Paris, died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 9, 1989) at Goshen General Hospital, were he had been a patient since July 31. He had been in ill health since 1985.

He was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Goshen. He married Dorothy Jeanette (Crume) Wambold on Jan. 17, 1946, in the First Brethren Church, Goshen. She survives with two daughter, Sandra Bollinger, New Paris, and Paula Shalley, Silver Lake; a son, Gregory D. Bollinger, Warsaw; three sisters, Phyllis Showalter, Millersburg, Evelyn Lecklitner, Goshen, and Ruby McClure Frost Proof, Fla., three brothers, Wallace E. , Lanny H. and Robert L., all of Goshen; and five grandchildren. A Son Thomas, a daughter, Claudia, and two infant children are deceased.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Rieth, Rohrer & Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen. Friends may also call Saturday for one hour prior to the 2 p.m. services at the New Paris Church of the Brethren. The Rev. John M. Whiteraft and the Rev. Mike Overpeck, pastors, will officiate. Burial will be in New Paris Cemetery.

Mr. Bollinger was a truck driver for Sun Metal in Warsaw. He retired in 1985 because of ill health. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of the Goshen American Legion.

Memorials can be given to the chair lift fund at the New Paris Church of the Brethren, where he was a member.
