Walter C. Hutton, 72, of 1611 E. Melaik Court died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1992, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Born Nov. 5, 1919, in Shoals, Ind., to Frank and Eva Williams Hutton, he married Alene E. Jordan on Nov. 3, 1951, in Peoria.

She survives along with one son, Scott of Garland, Texas; one brother, Merlie and one sister, Ethel Davis, both of Washington, Ind. One sister preceded him in death.

He was a crane operator at Keystone Steel & Wire Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Keystone Steel & Wire Employees Union.

Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
