Captain Algernon Robert Augustus Dorrien-Smith 15th/19th The King's Royal Hussars,Royal Armoured Corps~Service No:44981.Killed aged 30.
Interred:LAPUGNOY MILITARY CEMETERY-Plot 12.Row A.Grave 10.

Pilot Officer Lionel Roger Dorrien-Smith He was aged 21.He served with 79 Sqdn. Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve~Service No:72501. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the
RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL~Panel 8.

They were sons of Major Arthur Algernon Dorrien-Smith D.S.O., D.L., J.P., and Eleanor Salvin Dorrien-Smith of Tresco, Isles of Scilly, and nephews of Lord Trenchard, the founding father of the RAF
