Marvin NORDLUND, 81, of Paris died Sunday afternoon, September 20, at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 24, at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Paris, with Rev. Jim Doyle officiating.
Agnew Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Nordlund was born December 17, 1905, in Lindsberg, Kansas, to Luther and Hilda Anderson Nordlund. In 1934, in Hannibal he married the former Madge Shadwell, who survives at the home.
Also surviving are two daughters, Janet Williams of Paris and Joan Shannon of Tallahassee, Fla, two sons, Roland Nordlund of Coca Beach, Fla., and Stan Nordlund of Palmyra, Va; a sister Irene Heath of the state of California; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Nordlund was a member of the Methodist Church of Mexico.
