Bailey Barton, Esq., a well known resident of Pickens district, died the early part of last week, after a very short illness, aged about 52. For several years he represented this district in the State Legislature. He was a man of more than common natural capacity, and possessed some fine traits of character, mingled with a share of the frailities of humanity. Peace to his ashes!
