Clarence Graham, 88, of Eldon, formerly of Ulman, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born in Brumley on July 9, 1921, son of the late Ray and Ethel (Blew) Graham. On January 21, 1950, in Eldon he married Ruth Wickham who preceded him in death. On December 16, 1989, in Tuscumbia, Clarence married Reba Sooter Martin, who survives at the home.

Clarence and Reba enjoyed wintering in Texas, camping, and traveling in his motor home. He took pleasure in restoring antique tractors and equipment. He farmed in the Ulman area and was employed at Crowell Distributing of Osage Beach. He was a member of the U.S. Army during WWII serving in the Philippines in the infantry. Clarence was a member and an elder of the Tuscumbia Christian Church and was also a member, elder, and past deacon at Ulman Baptist Church.

He is also survived by two sons, Larry Graham and wife Yolanda of Jefferson City and Lance Graham and wife Lisa of Ulman; one daughter, Charolette Graham of Lee's Summit; three stepchildren, Judy Lawson of Tuscumbia, Patty Hensley and husband Dallas of Iberia; and Trudy Frank and husband Mike of New Bloomfield; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mildred Alieksaites of Ulman, Norma Jean Ahart of Tuscumbia, and Marilyn Carico of Ulman.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond, Bob, George, and James; one sister, Kathryn Humphrey; and one great-grandchild, Casey Lawson.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010, at the Tuscumbia Christian Church. Bro. Gene Edwards and Bro. Bill Vernon will officiate. Interment with military honors under the direction of the Iberia VFW Post 6167 and American Legion Post 105 will be in Gott Cemetery near Ulman.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
