Norma Jean (Graham) Ahart, age 92, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at her home. Norma was born in Brumley on December 7, 1929, daughter of the late Ray and Ethel (Blew) Graham. On September 11, 1949, in Eldon, Norma was united in marriage to Lonnie Rex Ahart, who preceded her in death on September 21, 2020.
Norma enjoyed quilting and was a past member of the quilting club in Tuscumbia. She had a rewarding career as a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Young and husband Charles of Republic; three sons, Bob Ahart and wife Sheila of Tuscumbia, Ron Ahart and wife Rhonda of Henley, and Richard Ahart and wife Margaret of Tuscumbia; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Carico; sister-in-law, June Ahart; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond, Bob, George, James, and Clarence Graham; two sisters, Kathryn Humphrey and Mildred Alieksaites; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Monday, February 28, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. David Visser officiating. Interment will be held in Gott Cemetery in Ulman.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Gott Cemetery or the First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia.
