Mildred L. Alieksaites, age 91, of Ulman, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Bristol Manor in Eldon. She was born in Brumley on March 28, 1920, daughter of the late Ray and Ethel (Blew) Graham. In March of 1944 in Kansas City, Mildred married William Peter Alieksaites, who preceded her in death on October 22, 1993.

During WWII Mildred worked in Kansas City welding on airplanes. She later worked at the Lodge of the Ozarks, Kalfran Lodge and Four Season's Lodge as a housekeeper. Mildred was a member of the Ulman Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, Jim Alieksaites and wife Sandy of Ulman, John Alieksaites and wife Donna of Russelville, William Bo Alieksaites of Tuscumbia, and Joe Alieksaites and wife Cindy of Ulman; one daughter, Margaret Flaugher and husband Larry of Eldon; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Norma Jean Ahart of Tuscumbia and Marilyn Carico of Ulman.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond Graham, Bob Graham, George Graham, James Graham, and Clarence Graham; and one sister, Kathryn Humphrey.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Kevin Blackburn will officiate. Interment will be in Gott Cemetery near Ulman.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Gott Cemetery.
