FREDERICK M. BARNES. SR
Frederick Myron Barnes, Sr., a resident of Rogers Street, Escatawpa, died Tuesday night at Singing River Hospital.
Born March 14, 1937 in Pascagoula, he was employed as a welder with Stern-Rogers Construction Company in Theodore, Ala.
He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Emily Ruth Larsen Barnes; one son, Fredrick M. Barnes, Jr.; one daughter, Amanda Kay Barnes; his mother, Mrs. Gracie Barnes, all of Escatawpa; two brothers, Calvin Leroy Barnes of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Otis Barnes of Escatawpa; and four sisters, Mrs. William Miller of Washington, Mrs. Melvin Parker, Mrs. Donald Hamm and Mrs. Howard Ware, all of Escatawpa.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.
The body will be taken on Thursday to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints to lie in state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
