Dead Pneumonia Claims A Mother
Died at the family home in Waterville, Feb. 19. 1920, Mra. Arra B. Whitehall aged 57 years 6 months & 6 days. The cause of death was pneumonia following an attack of influenza.
Arra B Kuder was born in Champaign Co, Ill., Aug. 13, 1862. When but a child she removed with her parents to Green Co, Iowa. On the 26th day of Dec. 1883 she was united in marriage to Alva Curtis Whitehall.
In 1896 the family moved to Waterville, where they haved lived continuously since that time. She is survived by her husband, A. C. Whitehall & seven children: viz, Lee Whitehall, Mrs. Leah Goll, Joseph C. & Margaret Whitehall, all of Waterville, Wash.; George Whitehall of Sunset, Wash,; Mrs. Minnie Welch of Great Falls, Mont., & Mrs. Bethel Acuff of Wilbur, Wash, one child Curtis Whitehall was drowned Aug. 19, 1909. Also two brothers, M. M. Kuder of Farmer & Frank Kuder of California, two sisters, Mrs. Barclay Whitehall of Farmer & Mrs. Daniel Harsh of Waterville.
She was a devoted member of the Churh of God & her life was consistent with her profession. She died in the hope of the soon coming of the Lord to give eternal life to his people. A host of relatives & friends mourn with the bereaved ones. She will be sadly missed in the community where she was ever willing to aid those who were sick or in distress. It was while assisting in caring for the sick that she contracted the disease which resulted so fatally.
