DOUBLE DROWNING AT WATERVILLE
CURTIS WHITEHALL AND BUSTER JORDAN, YOUNG BOYS, DROWNED THREE MILES EAST OF WATERVILLE LAST NIGHT
Word came to this city this morning of a double drowning three miles east of Waterville last night. The victims of the water were Curis Whitehall and Buster Jordan sons of A. C. Whitehall, a wheat grower living at Waterville and Albert Jordan, a carpenter. The boys were aged 10 and 7. They had been sent after the cows but, boyish like, while on the trip were tempted by the water and evidently they had got beyond their depth in the water and were both drowned. There were no witnesses to the accident but their parents became alarmed at their long absence and began to search and found their bodies in a small lake east of Waterville.
