I am the first born grandchild who lived and grew up close to Mammy. I was told I started calling her "Mammy" when starting to talk and that stuck with her from then on. Everyone, all the grandchildren, friends and family, called her Mammy. Mammy will always have a very special place in my heart. I have many fond memories of spending time with her.
