Ada C. Rader, 710 W. Maple Dr., Lebanon, died Sunday at Witham Memorial Hospital after being admitted there Saturday. She was 80 and had been seriously ill the past two years.
Born Aug. 10, 1912 in Grant County, Ky., she was a daughter of Walter C. and Mary F.(Hatcher) Simpson and was married May 28,1937, in Streeter, Ill., to Verno Rader. He died May 28, 1989.
As an infant,the family moved from Kentucky to Illinois where she was reared and educated. She had resided in Lebanon, Illinois, and southern Indiana before moving to Los Angeles from 1952-69. Returning here in 1969 and lived in Lebanon except for one year in Florida.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Don (Marilyn) Wall of Lebanon; sons Charles A. Rader, El Paso, Texas; George Byron Rader, Hawthorne, Calif.; a sister Mabel R. Bradle, Eureka, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, a sister, and three half sisters.
