ERNEST EUGENE KINION
---Ernest Eugene Kinion, age 77, of New Cambria, died at his home in New Cambria on Monday, March 29, 1993.
---Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Gilleland & McElwain Funeral Home in New Cambria with Rev. Rick Meyerpeter officiating. Burial will be in the New Cambria Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
---Mrs. Kinion was born Jan. 24, 1916, in Albia, Iowa, the son of Carl Ray and Nellie Edith Turner Kinion. He was married to Betty J. McMurray on Nov. 1, 1971.
---Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home; six daughters, Sylvia Shelmadine of Bevier, Lorene Perkins of Macon, Charlotte Cross of Macon, Betty March of Macon, Jenell Weber of Clarence and Teresa Kinion of Macon; three stepsons, John Lane of Bevier, Claude Kitchen of Independence, and James Kitchen of New Cambria; three stepdaughters, Rosetta Brown of Eufaula, Okla., Betty Palliser of Bevier, and Maureen Biegel of Bevier; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Howard Dean; and a step granddaughter, Samantha Swift.
---Mrs. Kinion was retired from the former Banquet Foods in Macon.

Note: Juanieta Elnora Cunningham was Mr. Kinion's first wife and mother of his six daughters; Sylvia Jean, Lorene Ellen, Charlotte Fern, Betty Lou, Jenell Dean and Teresa Ann Kinion.
