Hazel P. Teschner
Hazel P. Teschner, 87, Weyauwega, a town of Buena Vista native and former Amherst resident, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, in New London.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, with the Rev. Timothy Routh officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst.
Mrs. Teschner was born Aug. 30, 1918, in the town of Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Forest and Pearl (Fletcher) Barden.
She was married to Otto Teschner on Oct. 28, 1939, in Amherst. He died June 17, 1991.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Dave Jensen, Waupaca; two brothers, Gerald Barden and Franklin (Ann) Barden, both of Amherst; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Marjorie Teschner, Betty Stanchik and Nancy Jensen; three brothers; five sisters; and two great-grandchildren.
