Mrs. Carrie Phillips Reeves of Route 1, Dearing, Georgia, wife of the late Bill Reeves, entered into rest Thursday, July 28, 1977. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Fort Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joe Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Whitaker, Ray McGahee, Jessie Davidson, Alex Phillips, David Huff and Sam Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Fort Creek Baptist Church. A native of McDuffie County, Mrs. Reeves was a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Janie R. Taylor, Dearing and Mrs. Sallie R. Usry, Augusta; seven sons, David Reeves and Robert Reeves, Augusta, Gene Reeves and Randall Reeves, Harlem, Ga., Johnny Joe Reeves, Macon, Ga., Jack Reeves Atlanta, and Lynn Jerry Reeves, Dearing, five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Leach, Greensboro, Ga., Mrs. Vera Farmer, Mrs. Arlean Dorrie and Mrs. Pauline Warren, Augusta, and Mrs. Ruby Taylor, Anniston, Ala., and two brothers, Irvin Phillips, Blythe, Ga., and J.W.
