Mrs. Vera Phillips Farmer, Flowing Wells Road, Martinez, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, July 6, 1982, in a Richmond County hospital. The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m.
Thursday at the Abilene Baptist Church with the Revs. Bob Rayner and Bill Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Larry Bell,
Claude Fuller, Larry Wilson, Wayne Osborne, Ray Phillips and Joe Doyle. Mrs. Farmer was a native of McDuffie County and lived in Richmond County most of her life. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church and was retired from King Mill. Survivors include her husband; Howard A. Farmer; four daughters, Vivian Chassereau and Frances Anderson; Evans, and Elsie Huffman and Patricia Wilnot, Martinez; two sons, Bobby Farmer, Augusta, and Jack R. Farmer, Martinez; two brothers, Irvin Phillips, Lincolnton; Ga., and J.W. Phillips, Augusta; and four sisters, Hazel Leach, Greensboro, S.C., Ruby Taylor, Anniston, Ala., and Allene Dorrill and Pauline Warren, Augusta. Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
