OVINGTON OWSTON SR. OBITUARY
NORTON -- A Barberton resident 48 years, Ovington F. Owston Sr., 76, died Tuesday at Orville Osteopathic Hospital, where he had been a patient three days. He lived at 3235 Reimer rd.
He worked at the former Columbia Southern Chemical Corp., where he was a member of the 20-Year Club. He retired 16 years ago. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Sharon Center.
Mr. Owston was born in Willimantic, Conn.
He leaves his wife. Helen M.; daughters, Mrs. Helen Frase of Doylestown, Mrs. Viola Boettin of Clinton, Mrs. Martha Smith of Akron; sons, Howard of Barberton, Ovington Jr. of Doylestown; 16, grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Campfield-Hickman Funeral Home, Barberton, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Hartley officiating. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Doylestown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
