Age 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 1966, in Appleton after a short illness. She was born on August 20, 1883, in Stephensville, WI., the daughter of Gerhard and Sophia (Heiden) Lettman. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Ladies Aid of the First Lutheran Chrch.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Miles (Esma) Wincentsen, Shiocton, Mrs. Emil (Evelyn) Knutson, New London; Mrs. Raymond (Florence) Trost, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; four sons, Delbert, Harley, Virgil and Marlyn, all of Shiocton; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Callan, Shiocton, Mrs. Alfred (Dorothy) Moehring, Shiocton; Mrs. Joseph (Lydia) Kettner, Shiocton; one brother, Harry Lettman, Waukegan, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, a daughter, Ruth Marie Schwandt, a grandson, Donald Schwandt, great-granddaughter, Terri Jo Rindahl, a sister, Mathilda Earll, and five brothers, William, Otto, Louis, Henry and George Lettman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 1966, at First Lutheran Church, Shiocton, with Pastor Louis Mielke officiating. Friends may call at the Borchardt and Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton after 2 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the church until the hour of the service.
