PRINCEVILLE -- Helen F. Dahl, 78, of 315 N. Tremont St. since 1964 died at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1995, in the emergency room at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born Oct. 2, 1917, in Akron Township, Peoria County, to George Fred and Mollie Rose Begner Adams, she married Marvin W. Dahl on Dec. 9, 1944, in Harlingen, Texas. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Mary) Hawes of Buffalo Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Alva (Dorothy) Pullen of Princeville, Mrs. Dean (Irma Jean) Jackson of Speer and Mrs. Earl (Marlene) Martin of Peoria; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald W. in 1956, and one brother.

She was a member of Radnor Grange, Peoria County Farm Bureau and First Presbyterian Church in Princeville.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Akron/Princeville Ambulance Fund.
