According to a newspaper article from Owyhee Co., Idaho in 1895 regarding his 95th birthday, it is said that they immigrated to America in 1854, was eight weeks on the voyage, landed in Quebec, Canada July 27, and three days after lost his wife by the cholera.
According to a mortuary notice published in the Owyhee Avalanche newspaper in Silver City, Idaho:Mr. Noble was the father of thirteen children, grandfather to thirty nine, and great grandfather to sixteen. He has two sons in this county, Robert and John, both substantial citizens. His health has been very good up to a few days of his death and he was wonderfully preserved for a man of his extreme age. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon with the interment at the Reynolds cemetery.
An article in the Caldwell Tribune newspaper said that he was the oldest man in Idaho when he died.
