Charles Theodore May, the youngest son of Charles L. and Clara B. May, was born Sept. 17, 1904 near Hitchcock and departed this life at the Watonga Hospital March 12 at the age of 33 years, five months and 23 days. He was united in marriage to Jaunita Crawford of Greenfield, March 14, 1929. To this union was born one son, Timmy Joe, who died in infancy. Preceding him in death were his father and mother and two brothers, Cessna and Siegel. Those who are left to mourn are his wife, Jaunita, and three brothers, Ivan of Watonga, Jesse and Guy of Hitchcock, one sister Mrs. V.P. Joslin, Watonga and a host of other relatives and friends. He always had a smile for everyone and was everybody's friend and neighbor. Though he suffered much, he was uncomplaining unto the end. Funeral services were conducted from the City auditorium Tuesday, March 14, 1938 at p.m. by Rev. J. Glore Reneau and internment was in the Winnview Cemetery with the Keller Funeral Home in charge.
