Sweetwater - Funeral for Henry Lee Walton, 83, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at West Side Baptist Church with the Rev. C. J. Coffman of Snyder, the Rev. Buddy Sipe, pastor of West Side Church, and the Rev. Roy Brashear of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery, directed by Patterson-McCoy Funeral Home.
He died Thursday in Simmons Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Walton was born in Mississippi on Sep. 15, 1886 and married Anna Liza Love on Aug. 8, 1909 in Eastland. They moved to Nolan County in 1922. She died Feb. 12, 1969.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Shuler and Mrs. Ada Sanders, both of Sweetwater, and Mrs. Dade Wilson of Atlanta, Ga.; seven sons, Lee, George and Syeous all of Odessa, H. L. Jr. of Abilene, Lloyd Gene of Webb AFB in Big Spring, Jimmy of Sweetwater and Wayne of Hurst; 35 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
