KEYSER, W.Va. - Fred H. Alt Sr., 95, a resident of Heartland of Keyser, and formerly of Route 2, Keyser, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1988, at Potomac Valley Hospital. Born Nov. 14, 1892, in Pansy, W.Va., he was a son of the late Charles H. and Rebecca (Judy) Alt. His wife, Virgie Ethel (Borror) Alt, preceded him in death on July 11, 1964. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Alt is survived by three sons, Fred H. Alt Jr., Mantua, Ohio; Keith M. Alt, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; and Charles R. Alt, Keyser; one daughter, Mary Louise Triplett, Cresaptown, Md.; one brother, Edgar Alt, Keyser; three sisters, Dorothy Niner, Keyser; Lela Staggs, LaVale; and Myrtle Yokum, Heartland of Keyser; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Rotruck Funeral Home on Tuesday. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home by Pastor Randall Odem.
