KEYSER - Mrs. Virgie E. Alt, 72, of RD 2, Keyser, died in Potomac Valley, Hospital yesterday afternoon following a long illness. Born in Pansy, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late George R. and Mary J. (Layton) Borror. She was a member of the Mineral Baptist Church and had resided in the area for 47 years. She is survived by her husband, Fred H. Alt; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert W. Triplett, Cresaptown; three sons, Fred H. Alt Jr., Burton, Ohio; Keith M. Alt, Fort Ashby, and Charles R. Alt, RD 2, Keyser; a sister, Mrs. Essie Borror, Headsville; four brothers, Marvin K. Borror, Headsville; Otis Borror, Keyser, and H. Clyde Borror, Washington, Pa., and nine grandchildren. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mineral Baptist church with the Rev. Warren Shields officiating. Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery. The body will be at the Rogers Funeral Home.
