John S. Smith, 86, of 1309 S. Everett, retired contractor, services at 2 p.m. Monday in Culbertson Mortuary. He died Thursday. Survivors include four sons, Lloyd, Ponca City, Okla., Harold R., Stanton, Calif., and Edward and Johnny, both of Wichita; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Gooch and Mrs. Mildred Grover, and a sister, Mrs. Addie Watson, all of Wichita, and two half sisters, Mrs. Lola Brewer and Mrs. Francis Harrington, both of Long Beach, Calif.
