NETTLETON Tommie Lee White, 54, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at the Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was a graduate of Amory High School Class of 1961. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a brickmason before becoming disabled.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. George Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the New Prospect Cemetery in Nettleton. Darden and Sons Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his mother, Ada Mae White of Nettleton; his wife, Johnnie Marion White of Nettleton; one daughter, Jeri Smith of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one brother, Willie White of Nettleton; three sisters, Dorothy Jean Hawkins of Okolona, and Geraldine McIntosh and Evelyn Shumpert, both of Nettleton.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services.
