Violet M. Jolliff, age 74, of Brookville, Indiana, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her residence.

Born July 1, 1937 in Bright, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Wilbur L. & Doris (Reed) Rea. On November 10, 1956 she was united in marriage to William E. Jolliff, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2010.

She along with her late husband, Bill, owned & operated Bills Tire Sales & Service together for over 30 years. She was of the Baptist Faith, and a proud supporter of various veterans organizations.

Survivors include three sisters, Minnie Farrow of Brookville, Indiana, Edna (Glenn) Tuggle of Laurel, Indiana and Louella (Harold) Metcalf of Metamora, Indiana as well as numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

Besides her parents, and husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbur Rea Jr., James W. Rea, and Donald G. Rea.

Family & friends may visit from 3 till 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville.

Pastor Tim Fluty of the Garrison Creek Baptist Church will officiate the funeral services on Monday, July 2, 2012, 10:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
