YORKANA - Woodrow W. Aldinger, 80, of Yorkana, died at 9 p.m. Saturday at his home, following a lengthy illness.
He was the husband of Anna E. (Egger) Aldinger.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., Shiloh.
Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Aldinger was born at Brilhart Station. He was the son of the late Alvin and Minnie (Buehler) Aldinger.
He had been employed as a machinist with the then York Naval Ordnance Plant and later retired in 1974 from AMF-York.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Yorkana, of York Naval Ordnance Plant Alumni, of the Yorkana Game and Gun Club, and of Our Gang Riding Club.
Mr. Aldinger also is survived by two sons, Donald R. Aldinger of Yorkana, and Robert W. Aldinger of Windsor; a daughter, Judy A. Grube of Yorkana; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Minnie Kornbau of Dallastown, Florence Flandermyer of Seven Valleys, Sarah Walters of Red Lion; four brothers Victor S. Aldinger Sr. of Manchester, Harry R. Aldinger of Dover, William A. Aldinger of Shiloh, and Paul E. Aldinger Sr. of Seven Valleys.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Forrest S. Bish. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Memorial Fund, York RD 9, 17402. 02- 27-93
