"In this town, on Wednesday morning, Mrs. Abigail J. Poor, wife of Mr. Henry P. aged 49. Funeral from his home this aftemoon, if the weather permit. Friends and relations are requested to attend without
further invitation. During her last sickness, which was long & severe, she manifested unshaken fortitude, and strong confidence in Jehovah! In the sharpest paroxysms of her distresses, she was frequently heard to say, Let God do what he wilM resign myself wholly to his disposal. Where she was known, her life was her eulogy; where she was not known may these few remarks make her memory dear, by exciting all to imitate her example."
