News Anchor: Those who knew Jodi Huisentruit remember her as beautiful and accomplished, the victim in an unsolved case that haunts her Iowa town. Inspired by success with crowdsourcing, a team of experts from across the country is forging ahead with a new attempt to find answers, They're working with the few clues left where police believe she was abducted: Huisentruit's blowdryer, car keys and red high heels were scattered across her apartment parking lot. Legally declared dead in May 2001. Lt. Frank Sterns is the only officer still with the Mason City Police Department since that morning the anchorwoman never made it to work. "Mason City has not forgotten Jodi. I don't think America has forgotten Jodi," Lt. Stearns said.

Sister: JoAnn Nathe

Due to the strong resemblance of Jodi and Michelle, and similarities between their murders, it is strongly believed that Jodi was abducted and killed by Jerry Lynn Byrnes, the same man who killed Michelle Martinko in 1979. Though Jerry didn't admit to any crimes, his DNA proved he was guilty of raping and killing Michelle Martinko in 1979.
