Velma Wood Veazey age 71 passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Burial to be in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Veazey was a native of McIntyre but had made her home in Milledgeville for many years. She retired from Shaw Industry with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents James R. and Madge Fountain Wood and her husband Lloyd Irvin Veazey.
Survivors include two sons Marvin L. "Marty" Veazey and James Terry Veazey (Vicky Lynn) her daughter Catherine V. Brantley (Perry) all of Milledgeville, five grandchildren Mary Allene Veazey, Candice B. Griffeth (Eric) and William Lloyd "Cody" Veazey, Cayla Nicole Brantley and Mason James Lloyd Veazey.
