Services for Elton Reynolds Wood, 73, will be at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, May 4, 2003 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Randle Frashier will officiate. Mr. Wood passed Thursday, May 1, 2003 in a local hospital. Mr. Wood was a native of Wilkinson County and lived in Baldwin County most of his life. He was the son of the late James R. Wood and the late Madge Fountain Wood. He was retired from the Central State Hospital Carpenter Shop and was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Rosie Lee Jenkins Wood of Milledgeville; sons, Willie Wood and Lindsey Wood, both of Milledgeville; three sisters; Velma Veasey and Ruth Brown, both of Milledgeville and Sarah Livingston of Sanannah; grandchildren; Nikki Wiggins of Sandersville, April Dennard of Gordon, Brian Wood and James Wood of Milledgeville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will be at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Milledgeville Church of God Building Fund. Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville in charge of arrangements.
