Was born in the State of Michigan March 23 1846 (Town unknown) he moved to Nevada in the early 1860's and settled in Gold Hill where he worked as a miner. He was killed in a mining accident at the Kentucky Mine on Dec. 29th 1876 at age 30 and was laid to rest in the Gold Hill cemetery.
His grave stone has been stolen or smashed by vandals.]
