Ocala - Loren R. Hetzler, 76, of Ocala passed away October 16, 2012 at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
He was born on June 14, 1936 in Decatur, IL a son to the late Ernst and Gertrude Hetzler. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley, a daughter Debbie Goss, and a brother Donald.
He was a sports fan of the Fighting Illini football, the Cubs, and Nascar.
Survivors include a daughter Donna Hetzler, of Ocala, two sons, Duane and Skylar Hetzler both of Ocala, a brother, Harold Hetzler of Leesburg; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A graveside inurnment was held November 10, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
