Ocala - Shirley Hetzler, 71, passed away on August 7, 2008. She was born in Decatur, Illinois and eventually moved to Ocala in 1999. Shirley was an avid gardener, loved her greyhounds and was a supporter of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts troop #448. Staying behind to cherish her memories are her husband Loren; children Donna, Duane and Skylar all of Florida; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Harold Hetzler and wife Diane of Leesburg, Florida; sister Carolyn Tucker of Nebraska; aunt Vivian Myers of Decatur, Illinois; uncle J.D. Harper of Sarasota, FL; special friend Pat LeRoy; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents; step-father Duane Foreman, who lovingly raised her; daughter Debra Goss; brother Jerry Tincher and her mother-in-law and father-in-law. A memorial graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, FL, 34480.
