The remains of Franklin Birdsall, a
native of this place, who died in Chicago
on Wednesday, were brought here
to-day for burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
at 6 o'clock at the residence of
his sister, Mrs. Serene Fosgate Welles
of Locust street, and will be private
Rev. Henry E Hubbard, rector of St.
Pauls Church, will officiate

Funeral of Franklin Birdsell.
Waterloo, -July 29 The remains of
Franklin Birdsell. a native of this
place, who died in Chicago on Wednesday,
were brought here today for
burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Funeral
services will be held tomorrow at
five o'clock at.the residence of his
sister. Mrs .-Serene Fosgate-Welles, of
Locust street and will be private.
Rev. Henry E. Hubbard, rector of St.
Paul's church, will officiate.
Mr. Birdsell was born in 1836, the
son at the late Samuel and Serene
Fosgate Birdsall, of this place. After
spending his youth here he went to
Chicago, where he became and was for
many years prominently identified with
the railroad interest. Besides the
sister mentioned, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth
Wheeler, of Buffalo, a brother,
Robert Birdsell, of Evanston, III., a
widow, one daughter, Miss Nora Birdsell
and two sons Samuel and Edward
Birdsell, all of Chicago, survive.
