Walter Birdsall, an old resident of this
place, who died Friday at Kirkville,
Mo., to which places he had gone for
treatment af an illness of long standing,
were brought here yesterday for
interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Funeral services were held this afternoon
at the residence of Mrs. Serene
B, Welles, sister of the deceased, Rev.
Henry E. Hubbard, rector of St. Paul's
church, officiating.
Mr. Birdsall's death was due to bron
chial pneumonia. He was 66 years of
age and a native of Waterloo. His
family was formerly prominent in
business and social affairs of the town.
Besides the sister mentioned, a brother,
Robert Birdsall, survives.
