Midland - April 26 John F McVeigh, 64, died yesterday afternoon at his home. He had been ill for some time. Surviving are three sisters: Mrs Mary O'Rourke, Westernport; Mrs Sarah Cummings, Pittsburgh and Miss Julia McVeigh, Midland and one brother, the Rev William J McVeigh, Washington. Funeral services will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church Friday at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev Father McVeigh as celebrant of the Requiem Mass and the Rev J Lawrence Kilkenny, pastor of St Joseph's preaching the sermon. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Holy Name Society of the church will meet at Mr McVeigh's home tomorrow at 8 p.m. to recite the rosary.
